Pohlavní rozdíly
Samci jsou větší a pestřeji zbarvení, mají výraznější modrozelený lesk a prodlouženější konce hřbetní a řitní ploutve. Samice jsou menší a méně výrazně zbarvené, při péči o potomstvo však získávají kontrastnější kresbu.
